Operate Breathing Apparatus

This nationally recognised training course will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to safely and effectively operate various types of compressed air breathing apparatus. The program includes the use fully self contained, airline and escape supplied air systems including equipment from 3M Scott/Sabre, and MSA Safety in simulated low visibility environments.

How Often Do I Need to Complete This Course?

Workers that are expected to use Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), “shall” be considered for retraining “at least annually” or more often depending on the specific circumstances. AS1715:2009 2.4
