Description
To provide participants with the skills and knowledge to correctly install signs at road works or when working on the road and to apply worker safety and maintain smooth traffic flow and maintenance and meet Department of Infrastructure & Transport requirements.

Statement of Attainment RIIWHS205E Control Traffic with a stop-slow bat
Statement of Attainment RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plan

Physical Requirements
There are substantial physical elements to this course including lifting signs and traffic cones. Not recommended for persons on light dutes or unable to lift less than 10kg.
Prerequisites
Participants must provide identification and be 18 years of age or over
Provide evidence of previous ticket (within 3 years)
LLN Requirements
Ability to use and understand basic English
Ability to use and understand basic math
All participants must be able to communicate effectively in English and must be able to complete all required documentation including simulated workplace reports etc
