Inspection & Calibration

Safety equipment such as gas monitors, breathing apparatus and height safety equipment needs to be kept in good order to provide the proper level of protection. There are also standards and regulations, in addition to the manufacturers own recommendations, that must be adhered to to maintain certification of the equipment and records kept of these inspections and calibrations.

MSS provide onsite inspection services by qualified and experienced personnel for most types of height safety user equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, ropes etc. We provide a register of equipment indicating its status post inspection and even a costing for replacement items which do not meet thst standard.

We provide onsite calibration services for most manufacturers of portable and fixed gas monitors, including replacement parts and service. On completion a certificate of calibration is issued.

MSS complete on site competent person inspections of breathing apparatus, with the major services being completed by the OEMs, most of whom MSS are distributors for.
